Maybe check
    /usr/sbin
for "mysqld" or
   /etc/rc.d/init.de
for a hint on mysql

    ps awux | grep mysql
as root.

You have to log in as root or do a "su" to root bevor installing anything.

I hope the information fit for a RaQ2 too. Which PKG are you using?
