It's ok now.

GnuTLS has been installed, then cURL compiled with GnuTLS and other
aproppriate options - everything from src.

Thus was achieved the goal to provide php with ssl.

I don't think I have to worry to much about openssl, while admin site ssl is
working, do i?

Anyway, thank you very much for your tip.
It is always warm feeling.
